Prologue

I started my PGDE Drama course way back in August. I moved over on a sunny Tuesday, a day earlier than my official move-in date because flights from Belfast to Aberdeen only seem to go when it is at it’s most inappropriate. I arrived, got settled and the next day, everyone moved into the halls. I was joined by three other PGDE students and together we started our teaching adventure.

The first few weeks were a blur of activity and socialising. A month has already passed, something I find it increasingly hard to believe and very soon I will be starting my first placement.

I am terrified.
